Nano & Wio terminal battery
Mon Dec 18, 2023 9:54 am
Does the design of the the Nano allow for use of the use of the Wio terminal battery chassis? At first glance, the pinout looks compatible and it's providing 5V in the same spots, I'm guessing it would act as a direct bridge between the Nano PCB and the Terminal? Has anyone tried this?

When the Wio Terminal was first implemented for the P25RX/RXII models the Seeed Battery Chassis was considered. However, the battery chassis has a low battery capacity of only 650 mAh. Based on the current draw of the Nano/Wio combo, the battery chassis would not provide a very long runtime.

Adding to the above statement: It was also determined that the Seeed Battery Chassis could present power supply issues based on the possibilty of dual or triple voltage source paths able to feed the radio/Wio combo. These multiple voltage source paths could damage the equipment.
