Nano - RID's

My wife bought me a Nano as a Christmas gift. I loaded it all up with the current FW dated 12/17 and all the config files from my Micro. The Nano works greats except it shows the RID but not the Alias name. It does show the alias name on the Eagle Monitor Program. I kind of remember that Todd said something about turning on and off the RID Alias name from displaying on the WIO, but I can't find where to make the change. The Nano model we bought was the model with less memory, is that the problem?

In the [ GLOBAL CONFIG ] section of the ini file, try setting  EN_ALIAS_LOOKUP=1

That was it!!

Stupid question but what is the A1 and A2 with the arrow?

Also is there a way to make the WIO dimmer?

A1 and A2 only applies to the Eagle HH with antenna diversity switching. A1 and A2 indicate which antenna is currently selected.

What about the WIO brightness control?

I will look into the brightness control. I think it was removed in order to have the volume control. I'm going to be adding a configuration option that will specify what model the hardware is. (Eagle HH, Nano, Micro). Once I get that done, then I will update the Wio firmware to disable the battery voltage and A1/A2 displays for non-Eagle hardware. Hopefully this week.

Related question, does it matter what antenna selection number is being displayed? Two of mine are showing A1 and the other two are showing A2.

No. The Antenna A1/A2 is not part of the Nano design.
