Ok, I am guessing if I hook up a power source and have a system uploaded to I can go portable and not needing a computer?

Yes, that is correct. The BlueTail Technologies receivers are stand-alone receivers. You need powered speakers for the P25RX / P25RX-II. You can use a Bluetooth speaker.

Ok, I happen to have a bluetooth speaker, I was thinking a headset.

You could use a Bluetooth headset too. The line-out on the P25RX-II can be used to connect powered speakers, but it cannot drive non-powered speakers / headphones.
