What’s Next??

With the death of Todd Elliot, most likely this forum and the main BlueTail website will eventually go down. This is because both of the sites hosting site pages and accounts were most likely password protected. This means that no one can take over the accounts and continue the sites. You have all been invited to continue any BlueTail discussions on radioreference.com, in the BlueTail section. I am also personally building a complete archive of all the files and key pages of the BlueTail site. I know most of you have already downloaded all the files for your BlueTail product, but someone in the future might purchase a used BlueTail product and need these files. Which might very well be no longer available. Someone also might have the 3d printer files for the Micro and Nano receiver cases.  I thank those of you that have already helped me to preserve Todd’s work

This forumotion site hosts free forums. If someone wanted to they could create another forum account to continue... Just saying. either way the great radios live on.

I’ve got the time but I know nothing about setting up and running a forum. Which is really ironic considering I used to have a forum, but I had a very capable admin partner. Hint,hint,hint.  One thing we would need is a file repository. I’m more familiar with Vbulletin, but Vbulletin is a little too rich for my means.

Agreed, I would like to see the legacy of these devices and the company preserved as well as we can, possibly even continued. If I happened to win the lottery in the near future, I would love to find a way to continue the manufacture of these products. I do agree that it would be great if the family can scavenge up what they can and pass it along to the community. If there is some type of collection or contribution taken up, I would be glad to support it.

I have a new forum up and in a roughed out form. It is not yet ready for prime time though. If anyone is interested in being a admin or mod, please pm me. I will post a link to the site when it is fully functional

Wtf!! When did this happen, dude... Todd I'll miss you dude

Have also registered on this new location. Took me aback at first seeing had to login to see anything at all, my first sign it looks different. Thats on me , must have cleared a cookie/setting had always before just hit a saved home screen icon to see what's Todd& family's latest. A bit irritated mostly at the troll that commented so out of color. No more thought or microsecond of time/space to be devoted to that... crap ( to keep it clean & simple)... Onward: This family has some great ideas, enthusiasm & input to Todd's concepts brought to life and well cared for. I had been continually impressed how personally Todd & many of you handled all the tweaks & improvements which made me want to get whatever product 'these guys' are develoling. Thanks for your efforts!!!

If anyone is interested in all of the items Todd was using to create and test his radios, it will be available shortly. It's too much stuff to ship, you'll hafta come get it in Washington state...although, it will be a very reasonable price. I believe Todd would have wanted one of you to continue with his project.
